PetroVietnam Nhon Trach 2 (NT2) ready for second dividend payout

PetroVietnam Power Nhon Trach 2 Joint Stock Company (HoSE: NT2) plans to finalise the list of shareholders liable to receive the firm’s second-round dividend payout on December 28.

 

The rate of the dividend payout is set at 9 per cent, meaning each shareholder will earn VND900 (US$0.04) per share owned. The payment is set for June 17, 2019.

PetroVietnam Power Nhon Trach 2 has more than 287.8 million shares listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.

The company is expected to spend VND259 billion ($11.4 million) for the upcoming dividend payout.

The first round of dividend payment was made in September at the rate of 15 per cent (VND1,500 per share).

In the first nine months of the year, the company earned VND5.65 trillion of revenue and VND529 billion of post-tax profit, up 20 per cent and 7.7 per cent year on year.

The firm’s nine-month post-tax profits fulfilled 71 per cent of its full-year target.

The company’s shares were at VND25,700 per share, down 12.5 per cent from the record high of VND29,370 in mid-January 2018.
