The Habitat Binh Duong Phase 2 breaks ground

The Habitat Binh Duong Phase 2 has officially broken ground at 8 Huu Nghi Avenue, Thuan An town, Binh Duong. Situated at the front side of Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) I, the second phase of the project is expected to become a vibrant community for locals and foreigners.

The Habitat Binh Duong is jointly developed by VSIP Vietnam, Sembcorp Singapore, and Mitsubishi Corporation Japan. In last June, The Habitat Binh Duong has emerged as the winner of the Best Mid-End Condo Development in Ho Chi Minh City category.

Strategically located in Binh Duong province, The Habitat Binh Duong is conceived as a part of VSIP’s integrated development responding to demand from tenants and the expatriate community to deliver quality housing and amenities for working, living, and entertainment.

Yip Siew Yong, general director of VSIP-Sembcorp Gateway Development Co., Ltd. stated at the ceremony that since the handover of Phase 1, more than 95 per cent of buyers or tenants moved into their apartments. Meanwhile, more than 80 per cent of the 460 premium apartments and duplexes of Phase 2 have been reserved.

The Habitat Binh Duong Phase II comprises of three 18-storey blocks covering an area of 9,500 square metres with low construction density. The second phase of the project will offer 460 two- and three-bedroom apartments, five duplexes, seven retailed space, and two above-ground parking floors. It also has a landscaped garden with extensive greenery that takes up 2,000sq.m at the podium level.

The Habitat Binh Duong Phase 1 has reported healthy take-up following its launch. The first phase of the project comprises of two blocks housing 267 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Homeowners have been granted pink books since the handover in March 2017.

Riding on the success, The Habitat Binh Duong Phase 2 continues to offer residents a myriad of modern amenities for a refined living experience. There is a multipurpose indoor sports area connected with the first phase tower. The two- and three-bedroom apartments, covering 57 and 87sq.m of living space, respectively, are expected to meet the versatile demands of homebuyers. It also boasts five duplexes to create a spacious living environment for homeowners. A duplex spreads over two floors connected by an indoor staircase.

Binh Duong has emerged as a magnet for foreign investors in Vietnam. The province is home to more than 3,000 foreign companies with an annual influx of billions of dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI). In the beginning of 2018, Binh Duong ranked second in FDI attraction after Ho Chi Minh City, accounting for 12.98 per cent of the country’s total FDI capital.

Moreover, Binh Duong is also a promising land for local workers and foreign experts to work and live. The Habitat Binh Duong Phase I and II target both locals and expats by offering a civilised and multicultural community. The project also gives residents an opportunity to own modern apartments with a plethora of on-site amenities.

The value of the apartments will continue to increase in the long run due to its strategic location at the gateway of VSIP 1 in Thuan An town of Binh Duong. It only takes 20 minutes to reach downtown Ho Chi Minh City and 45 minutes to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

With modern living environment and full amenities amid lush greenery, The Habitat will bring convenience and comfort to residents. The project also focuses on the wellbeing of residents with the multipurpose indoor sports area, swimming pool, tennis court, a children’s playground, and a public landscaped area. Thus, The Habitat is an ideal address for both local and foreign experts looking for a more sustainable future.
