First hotel in Viet Nam to be ranked among top four in the world

The Reverie Saigon ranked fourth on the list of the top 50 best hotels in the world in the annual Readers’ Choice Awards 2017 conducted by the pre-eminent travel publication Condé Nast Traveler. It is the only hotel in Vieät Nam to be included on the annual list.

The recognition was based on a survey of more than 300,000 of the magazine’s readers.

“The Reverie Saigon brought a level of luxury previously unseen in HCM City when it opened in 2015,” the magazine noted.

The opulent Italian decorations and furnishings, the three fine dining restaurants, and “a 157-foot bar that’s so long it stretches from Dong Khoi Street all the way to Nguyen Hue Boulevard two blocks over” are all highlights of the hotel, according to the magazine.

The Spa also garnered a mention for its 13,000 sq-foot space and facilities that include two open-air Jacuzzis and an Olympic- swimming pool.

Kai Speth, vice president of operations and business performance for the Windsor Property Management Group Corporation (WMC Group) which operates The Reverie Saigon, said the announcement was recognition of the unique vision the hotel presented and its commitment to creating the ultimate guest experience.

“Saigon is taking its rightful place as one of Asia’s leading cities, and upscale travelers expect the very best attainable, not merely the very best in Viet Nam, but the very best anywhere. The announcement is recognition that The Reverie Saigon truly belongs in that category,” Speth said.

Speth also paid tribute to the management and staff at the hotel and the essential role they play. “The entire team at The Reverie Saigon are dedicated to providing the highest standards of service, and they carry out their mission each and every day. Our people are a crucial element in making this one of the best hotels in the world.”

A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, The Reverie Saigon offers an astonishing hotel experience, showcasing extravagant, unapologetic European opulence in a storied Asian setting.

Aside from three luxury restaurants, The Royal Pavilion, Cafe Cardinal and R&J Italian Lounge & Restaurant, the hotel features 286 rooms and suites alongside 89 fully furnished serviced apartments, all of which are among the largest in the city and feature incomparable views of the winding Saigon River and the city skyline.

Renowned Italian brands furnished the rooms and suites of both the hotel and residence, and set the ambiance with exquisite and, in some cases, one-of-a-kind pieces. The property features five distinctive food and beverage outlets, a 1,200-sq-metre spa and fitness centre, an expansive outdoor swimming pool, and 16 versatile and elegantly decorated function spaces.

Looking out over picturesque Nguyen Hue Boulevard, The Royal Pavilion is known for its divine dim sum and signature aø la carte dishes which offer a lavish culinary journey through China’s most popular cuisines.

The main dining room presents an artful dining experience in every way, while the nine private dining rooms are perfect for hosting sophisticated gatherings.

At Cafe Cardinal, breakfast and lunch are buffet or aø la carte, with made-to-order main courses. Come dusk, dinner is a fine dining affair, with aø la carte and prix-fixe menus featuring dishes that are decidedly French, while the dessert buffet entices with the finest selection in all of HCM City as well as an array of imported cheeses.

In addition to its all-day dining offering, the artful venue serves up afternoon tea in high style daily, presenting selections from across the European continent, including favourites such as Austrian linzer torte, French eùclairs and English scones.

Romeo & Juliet – or ‘R&J’ as it’s affectionately called – offers a full range of flavourful, home-style Italian dishes. Its menu dabbles in regional favourites from north to south – from wagyu osso buco to homemade pasta crafted with imported Italian flour.

Two beautifully appointed private dining rooms offer intimate spaces in which to host intimate gatherings, while the entire restaurant offers a fantastic venue for grander private events.

The hotel and residences are located in the 164-metre tall Times Square building, a mixed-use development, which includes eight storeys of prime office space and the showrooms of some of the same high-end Italian furniture brands whose pieces are featured throughout the hotel.

The Reverie Saigon is managed by the WMC Group, a hospitality and property services Management Company headquartered in HCM City. The company's diverse management portfolio includes premier hotels, serviced apartments, restaurants in the central business district, grade-A offices and commercial shopping centres.
