MMG LXML Sepon extends support to LNCCI

MMG LXML Sepon (LXML) recently provided 80 million kip in sponsorship to the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI).

This partnership aims to further develop the capacity of the local business sector in Laos.

The sponsorship was presented by Corporate and Community Affairs Manager of LXML, Mr Viboon Sithimolada, on behalf of the company and received by Board Director of LNCCI, Mr Daovone Phachanthavong.

Since 2000, LXML has contributed as a long-standing active member of the LNCCI; as an integral part of the company's corporate, governance, and commercial activities as well as a significant investor, taxpayer, and one of the largest industrial operations in Laos, according to the company.

The LNCCI, established in 1989, is an independent body representing the interests of the business community in Laos. It provides an important link between state and private enterprises operating in accordance with the laws of the country.

The LNCCI has over 1,000 members in Chambers of Commerce in 13 provinces and has become the largest business community representative organisation in Laos.

The organisation in partnership with LXML is committed to strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of Lao businesses in the Asean Economic Community and global arena.
