PV OIL Laos continuing to import fuel from Shell

PETROVIETNAM (PV) Oil Lao Co., Ltd., a member of Petrovietnam Oil Corporation, is continuing to import fuel from the Shell Company of Thailand for supply to the domestic market.

A contract extension agreement was signed in Vientiane last week between General Director of PV OIL Laos, Mr Nguyen Kim Son, and Executive Director of the Shell Company of Thailand, Mr Thada Chiengkul, in the presence of dealers and management teams from both companies along with representatives of PV OIL fuel stations in Vientiane.

The Shell Company is a major supplier of high quality fuel around the world.

The PETROVIETNAM OIL Corporation (PV OIL) has completed the purchase of all shares of Societe Shell du Lao and took ownership on December 1, 2010.

The aim of the signing ceremony was to promote and commit to seeking high quality supply sources of EURO4 fuel to meet local and international standards to serve users and the public.

The vision of the company is to be the number one quality fuel supplier in Laos, providing the best services and the best clean oil to petrol stations.

The agreement represents good further cooperation between the two companies and it is hoped there will be further expansion in the future.

It signifies a strong relationship between both companies for the supply of quality oil in Laos.

As the company committing to work in partnership, Shell believes that together we can make happen anything that is possible, Mr Thada said.

I am confident that our innovation and technology will be able to achieve more and continue to develop a strong relationship between the two companies. I am also confident that with the supply our high performance and assistance quality from Shell products, it will add value and provide a competitive advantage in the market, he said.

The company will try to continue to do everything to support PV OIL and its customers to grow together, Mr Thada added.
