Local construction companies learn more about cable management

Indus Tek of Laos in cooperation with TST Metal Work Co., Ltd from Thailand yesterday presented cable management techniques for Lao construction companies to improve the standard of system installations.

Many Lao construction companies still lack experience in cable management after being awarded projects from the government or international organisations, TST Metal Work Co., Ltd Authorised Representative of Laos, Mr Phonesavanh Xaypanya said.

Techniques from this seminar will help construction companies in Laos increase their understanding and knowledge on the international standard cable tray system, he explained.

It will also help Lao construction companies to better face regional and international competition, so participants should take this opportunity to learn from the company's experts, Mr Phonesavanh explained.

In the past, cable installations for various large projects, especially high-rise buildings and hydropower, were undertaken by foreign companies while Lao companies were sub-contractors.

The issue caused the foreign companies to take a lot of money from the projects in Laos, Mr Phonesavanh said.

The cable tray system is also important for safety, reducing obstructions and easy to repair when the system has a problem.

TST Metal Work Co., Ltd has 16 years of management experience in this field.

Their TST Trunking System and Metallic Cable Tray System have been able to assist customers in many projects around the world, and in 2005 they established TST Metal Work to better serve their clients.

The company will continue to improve and develop its services for construction companies in line with the growing number of major projects in the country such as shopping malls, hydropower projects and road development.
