ACV to be listed on UPCoM

The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) recently approved the Airports Corporation of Vietnam's (ACV) application to be listed on the unlisted public company exchange (UPCoM).

ACV plans to list 2.17 billion stocks.

The company currently has VND21.7 trillion (US$970 million) in charter capital, making it the company with the most charter capital on UPCoM, replacing Masan Resource.

At the end of the second quarter of 2016, ACV's total assets amounted to VND46.15 trillion ($2.06 billion). During the same period, the company suffered post tax losses of VND61.68 billion ($2.75 million) due to fluctuations of the Japanese yen.

ACV received their certificate of registration from the Vietnam Securities Depository on October 18, 2016 after finalizing their stockholders list on May 30, 2016.

Besides ACV, many other large corporations such as the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) and the Hanoi Construction Corp. (Hancorp) are listed on UPCoM.
