Airports handle more passengers and cargo

The number of passengers handled by Cambodian airports grew by 6.2 percent to 5 million during the first nine months of the year, while cargo tonnage increased by 21.3 percent, reaching 35,125 tonnes, according to Cambodia Airports’ monthly newsletter.

From January to September, visitors from China made up the largest share of passenger arrivals to Cambodia, with 636,143 total travellers, an 18.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
