New figure chairs BIDV

Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) management board member Tran Anh Tuan became board chairman on September 1.

In a dispatch sent to the State Securities Commission and local stock exchanges, the bank said Tuan replaced Tran Bac Ha, who retired on the same day.

Tuan has been with BIDV for 35 years. He has been a management board member since 2012, after assuming positions such as branch director, deputy general director and general director of the bank.

Ha also chaired BIDV for eight years.
