G7 Tech to build high-tech lighting equipment factory

Vietnamese G7 Technology Co. Ltd (G7 Tech) on September 27 received an investment certificate from Saigon High-tech Park's Board of Management for construction of an electronic circuit and high-tech lighting equipment factory.

The project has total investment of VND220 billion (US$9.8 million) and will begin construction in October 2016. The factory will be fully operational in the second quarter of 2018 with a production capacity of 210 products per year.

The factory will produce power-saving LED chips used in civil, public and fishery lighting. Additionally, it will be a pioneer in packaging mainstream LED chips.

G7 Tech has co-operated with many global semiconductor technology, energy and electronic equipment corporations, in addition to domestic universities to create modern energy saving technology and to develop automatic electronic equipment.
