Revised gas caps see premium, diesel fall
The government maintained the price ceiling on regular gasoline, while marginally decreasing caps on premium gasoline and diesel at petrol stations sold across the Kingdom, the Ministry of Commerce announced yesterday.
The new price ceilings, effective July 22 to August 1, are for regular petrol at 3,300 riel per litre, premium at 3,200 riel per litre and diesel at 3,050 riel per litre.
The government revises retail fuel price caps every 10 days using a pricing formula aimed at ensure prices at the pump respond to changes in global oil prices.
Brent crude oil was trading at $47.17 per barrel yesterday, down from 48.47 at the time of the last revision.
