Prices at the pump fall on new fuel price caps
The Ministry of Commerce yesterday marginally lowered the price caps on fuel sold at retail petrol stations across the Kingdom from June 22 to July 1.
The revised prices, calculated according to a fuel pricing mechanism adopted in March, set a price ceiling of 3,350 riel per litre on regular gasoline, 3,450 riel per litre on premium gasoline and 3,100 riel per litre on diesel.
The reductions come as benchmark Brent crude oil prices slipped below $48 last week before settling at $50.65 a barrel on Monday.
