Cambodia, Thailand review border trade
Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhon discussed means of improving transport links and boosting bilateral trade during a two-day visit to Thailand, the foreign ministry said yesterday.
It said both parties agreed during meetings on June 19-20 to work toward tripling the current level of bilateral trade, targeting $15 billion a year by 2020.
To accomplish this they agreed to facilitate cross-border trade, including opening the Stung Bot-Nong Ian border crossing, and increase the number of trucks licensed for cross-border trade.
