Acleda, Forte deal to boost insurance sector

ACLEDA Bank Plc and Forte Insurance (Cambodia) Plc have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand general insurance and micro-insurance options for the Kingdom’s consumers, a press release said on Friday.

The MoU will create a framework to pro-mote the industry across Cambodia by using Acleda’s 258 branches.

Forte Insurance was the first insurance company established in Cambodia in 1999. It has grown to be the largest provider in the country.
