True Money inks deal with Chamroeun MFI

Mobile payment provider True Money Cambodia signed a memorandum of understanding with Chamroeun Microfinance yesterday to facilitate bill payment for the microlender’s clients, the company said in a press release.

Chamroeun Microfinance – with 34 offices nationwide – has 37,000 customers, who have $9 million worth of credit combined.

Its borrowers will pay $0.40 every time they make a transaction through one of True Money’s 5,000 agents.
