HNX director to become HoSE director

Tran Van Dung, CEO and general director of the Ha Noi Stock Exchange (HNX), became the general director of Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HoSE) from March 1.

According to HoSE, Dung will replace its current General Director Phan Thi Tuong Tam, who retired on the same day.

The finance ministry submitted to the prime minister last year a merger plan of the two bodies. It will become the country's largest bourse, with headquarters in Ha Noi. However, the government is yet to make a final decision.
