Viglacera to manufacture construction materials in Cuba

Viglacera Corporation will set up a joint venture with Cuba's Geicon Company to manufacture construction materials in the Cuban cities of San Jose and Santa Cruz in 2016, investment e-newspaper baodautu.vn reports.

Plans call for manufacturing sanitary ware and ceramic wall and floor tiles in Cuba.

This joint venture was created under a Memorandum of Understanding which was signed in Cuba by Geicon General Director Cesar Revuelta Mayolina and Viglacera counterpart Nguyen Anh Tuan. The joint venture is expected to help Viglacera's penetrate the Cuban market and introduce its other construction materials.

Previously, Viglacera sent two expert delegations to Cuba to assist in production at construction material plants, as well as to perform a survey to determine demand for construction materials in the Cuban market.
