VN-China trade fair opens in Quang Ninh

More than 250 Vietnamese and Chinese firms are showcasing their products at the Viet Nam-China international trade fair 2015 which opened its doors yesterday in Quang Ninh Province's Mong Cai City.

Among their goods at the event included agro-forestry and aquatic products, machines, equipment, electronics, handicraft and wooden items.

In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh People's Committee Le Quang Tung said the week-long fair would help Vietnamese and Chinese businesses seek partners, cooperate to expand markets, and strengthen investment and tourism activities.

China has become Viet Nam's largest trade partner since 2004. Two-way trade recorded an average growth of 20 per cent per year in recent years, baocongthuong.com.vn reported.
