Gasoline prices rise

Gasoline dealers in HCM City and other southern cities and provinces today increased the retail gas price by VND17,000 per 12-kg gas tank to VND290,000-300,000, they said yesterday.

The average gas price on the world market surged by US$52.5 per tonne of gas to $415 from last month to push the local gas retail price up, said Tran Van Phuoc, head of Saigon Petro's Business Division.
