Vietnam Motor Show 2015 on horizon

The eleventh Vietnam Motor Show 2015 will be held from October 28 to November 1 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) there will be 16 prestigious members at the Motor Show: Chevrolet (GM), Ford, Fuso, Hino, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Madza, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Suzuki, and Toyota.

Organized by VAMA, the Motor Show will showcase the latest models, engines and advanced technologies and is a venue for enterprises to meet.

According to a recent report from VAMA, automobile sales stood at 20,349 units in July, an increase of 9 per cent against June and 61 per cent compared to July last year. It is hoped the Motor Show will boost sales and revenue.

This year’s Show does not feature imported motor car as they will attend the Vietnam International Motor Show, which will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre in Hanoi on October 10-13.

Nine authorized importers - Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Luxgen, MINI, Porsche, Renault and BAIC - have registered to showcase their vehicles at the event.
