Fertilizer Corporation's H1 profits surge

The PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation has announced a pre-tax profit of VND953 billion (US$43.7 million) in the first six months of the year.

The pre-tax profit amount represents a 26.6 per cent increase in comparison with the same period last year.

In the second quarter alone, the corporation earned more than VND2.8 trillion ($128.4 million) in revenue.

The corporation became operational in 2004. Apart from providing fertilisers and chemical products, the corporation also supplies services such as storage and warehouse, transportation and real estate management.
