Doosan Vina provides equipment to Nghi Son refinery

Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam (Doosan Vina) has delivered 169 hi-tech pressure equipments, weighing more than 5,300 tonnes, to Nghi Son Refinery Project, Viet Nam's second petrochemical refinery, since February.

The equipments, produced at Doosan Vina's chemical processing equipment (CPE) shop in the Dung Quat Economic Zone in Quang Ngai Province, will help the plant to produce 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day in 2017.

It's expected that the final shipment of the equipment for the refinery plant will be made this September.

Doosan Vina is a hi-tech industrial complex in Quang Ngai Province, employing nearly 2,500 Vietnamese workers.

It's also the first mega infrastructure producer with made-in-Viet Nam equipment, such as boilers, heat recovery steam generators and desalination, crane and chemical processing equipment

In 2014, the company exported goods worth $200 million, which is expected to touch $300 million by the end of this year.
