BS Capital Lao launch their first social responsibility programme

BS Capital Lao, a new leasing company under the umbrella of the BS Financial Group of the Republic of Korea, has made its first local donation as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

Under the slogan of “BS Capital Lao Leasing Co., Ltd - Sharing happiness with the Lao PDR,” their first donation was made to a primary school in Kang village in Hadxaifong district, Vientiane on July 31.

BS Capital Lao Leasing has provided this school with basic stationery supplies, including pens and textbooks to support the children's academic endeavours and also different types of balls and nets for their physical education needs.

The handover ceremony of education and sports supplies was attended by the school's deputy director Mr Soukan Phommasisavath, representatives from BS Capital Lao Leasing and local authorities as well as other invited guests.

The Managing Director of BS Capital Lao Leasing Mr Ryu Hui-Seok, was very pleased to make donation to the school children as he thought the contribution went to a school in need and will help the young children to have access to a better school environment.

During the interview with the Kang village's chief Mr Savay Khammanivong, Mr Ryu thanked local authorities and also the school for giving him an opportunity to support their school's needs and promised that more donations will follow in the near future.

Mr Ryu also asked Mr Savay about the school and children's needs and commented that he would make a consistent donation plan as long as BS Capital Lao Leasing Company operates within the Lao PDR.

Mr Ryu and his staff did not wait long to make this first donation, offering the contribution within the first month of their operation.

He said their passion is in sharing with the local community and showing the level of their love for the Lao PDR and how well they have planned for their operations along with the donation plan.

BS Capital Lao Leasing did not take long to gain the trust of local people and their success in business will bring more prosperity to communities in Laos. BS Capital Lao Leasing Co officially commenced operations last month after celebrating their grand opening on June 8.

The company has formally begun operations by concentrating on car and motorcycle loans in the early stages. Once all of the systems are stable, BS Capital Lao plans to extend its services into areas such as light / heavy equipment leasing for business owners.

BS Capital Lao Leasing Co., Ltd.'s office is on the 2nd Floor of the Premier Building on Setthathirath Road in Phiavat village, Sisattanak district, Vientiane.
