Techcombank receives "Best Bank in Vietnam 2015" award

The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) has been conferred the "Best Bank in Vietnam 2015" award by Global Finance magazine.

In a press release issued on July 15, the bank said the magazine had highlighted Techcombank's success in introducing innovative, convenient and high-tech products geared to the needs of customers, and at the same time focusing on improving service quality.

The monthly magazine, founded in 1987, has held the Global Banking and Finance Awards annually to honour outstanding financial institutions.

More than 3.7 million individual customers currently use Techcombank's services in Viet Nam. The bank provides a variety of services, such as money transfers via social media networks, cash withdrawal from automated teller machines without a credit or debit card, and automatic bill payment. Its car loans, home loans and card products are the most sought after by customers.

The bank was recognised as the "Best Bank in Viet Nam" for four consecutive years, from 2011 to 2014, by Finance Asia magazine. The Alpha Southeast Asia magazine named it "Best Bank in Viet Nam" for three consecutive years, from 2011 to 2013.
