KP rolls out improved sales service strategy

KP Company Limited and BridgestoneTyres recently held the Bridgestone Lao 18th Annual Declaration Trade Partnership Seminar in Khon Kaen, Thailand, to explain KP's policy on better sales service and to hold a thank you party for customers.

KP Company Limited is the importer of Bridgestone tyres in Laos.

On the first day of the event, the Bridgestone Lao family gathered at Patouxay monument in Vientiane for a group photo before moving on to Khon Kaen province for the seminar, which took place at the Centrala Grand Hotel.

The seminar ran from May 28-30 and was chaired by the Chairman of KP Company Limited, Mr Virachit Philaphandeth.

Also present were KP's Vice Senior President/QMR Mr Vilaysack Philaphandeth, Mr Aellan Choo of Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., Mr Lance Lin Yuan Jia of the Mitsubishi Corporation Singapore branch, Dr Nimnual Piewthongngam of Khon Kaen University, and Bridgestone dealers and representatives.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr Vilaysack said he very much appreciated the chance to take part in the seminar and explain KP's development policy to Bridgestone Lao representatives to motivate them to improve their customer service. The seminar aimed to promote a new vision to encourage dealers to devise better plans for the distribution of products in local markets.

It was a good opportunity for business operators and dealers to discuss their ideas about how to improve their services, he added.

“This is the 18th year that KP has entrusted Bridgestone with the importation of tyres for distribution in Laos,” Mr Vilaysack said.

“In the future, we plan to step up our cooperation to ensure we are well placed to cope with the competition that will arise when more tyre products become available as the Asean Economic Community (AEC) comes into effect.”

“In anticipation of this competition we have to strengthen our business plans so they match the need for continued economic growth,” he added.

As well as being a platform to explain the company's policies, the seminar aimed to build friendly relations and cooperation with the Bridgestone family and ensure everyone enjoyed fun and entertainment while at the event in Thailand.
