VN Airlines increases Can Tho-Taiwan flights

Vietnam Airlines is offering five return flights between the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho and Taiwan for Tet.

The move aims to meet the demand of the Vietnamese in Taiwan, who often return home for the country's largest holiday, said Nguyen Phuc Dien, head of Vietnam Airlines' Can Tho branch.

The direct flights will be conducted between Can Tho and the Taiwanese cities of Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung between February 6-28. Tet runs from February 15-23 this year.

This is the sixth consecutive year the national carrier has launched the service.
