Local enterprises look to expand Russian network
Garment, agriculture and food businesses in Viet Nam are interested in expanding their networks in Russia by building an industrial zone in suburban Moscow, said Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Son.
Son made the statement at a meeting with Moscow Governor Andrey Vorobiov, where they discussed measures to boost economic, trade and investment ties between the two countries' localities on Tuesday.
During the session, the two agreed to speed up technical negotiations for the early establishment of the zone.
The dairy producer TH True Milk plans to invest about US$1 billion in animal feed, dairy cow breeding and milk production in Russia, and some oriental medicine businesses are considering the building a health care centre in the capital city of Moscow, Son said.
