Citibank Vietnam celebrates 20 years of progress

Citibank Vietnam marked two decades of development in the Vietnamese market and reaffirmed its commitment to its customers in the country.

Citibank country officer for Vietnam Dennis Hussey emphasised the important role of the business communities of both foreign and domestic, and expressed his pride that Citibank Vietnam has been serving them and helping them to accomplish financial goals and needs in its 20th year anniversary.

Also on this occasion, Citibank Vietnam was awarded with two noble awards from Vietnam’s government and State Bank of Vietnam for its outstanding contributions and success.

“The State Bank of Vietnam highly appreciates Citi’s achievements in the past 20 years, contributing to the overall development of the banking sector and local economy. This is important foundation for Citi - Hanoi Branch to continue with further achievements, expanding business activities effectively in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.”, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu said.

Citi ASEAN head Michael Zink said: “I reaffirm Citi’s commitment to our customers in Vietnam, to the market, and to supporting the overall development of society in many years to come.”
