Vietbuild expo opens in Mekong Delta

More than 200 domestic and foreign businesses from the construction industry are displaying their latest achievements, from manufacturing to interior decoration, at the 2014 Vietbuild International Exhibition which began yesterday in Can Tho in the Mekong Delta.

The event features about 450 booths and will run for five days, said Le Thi Kim Thu, director of the Can Tho International Exhibition and Fair Centre.

Vietbuild provides a playground where businesses can meet each other, test new products and research customers' needs.

Visitors can attend seminars introducing new technology, environmentally friendly products, potential opportunities for property investment and new construction policies.

The event is organised by the Ministry of Construction and the Can Tho municipal People's Committee.
