A three-day exhibition on garment equipment organised by the Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) opened yesterday in Ha Noi.

The exhibition has attracted 100 domestic and international firms, a 30 per cent increase compared to 2012. The exhibition is an opportunity for Vietnamese garment and textile firms to learn about new technology and modern equipment to meet the requirements of foreign importers.

This year's domestic garment and textile export turnover is expected to reach US$25.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19 per cent.
