Stocks markets continue rally

Stocks continued their rally this morning on the HCM Stock Exchange, with the benchmark VN-Index crossing the key level of 610 points to close at 610.23, up 0.41 per cent.

Major shares including Masan Group (MSN), Vinamilk (VNM), PV Gas (GAS), Bao Viet Holdings (BVH) and VinGroup (VIC) continued to support the market with gains ranging from 0.7 to 1.7 per cent.

The VN30, which tracks the top 30 shares by market value and liquidity, was also up 0.32 per cent to end at 645.64 points.

The total market volume reached more than 54 million shares, worth VND962 billion (US$45.6 million).

FLC Group (FLC) was again the most active code, with 6.4 million shares being traded at VND13,400 per share.

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index climbed 0.17 per cent to close at 80.26 points, with the trading value being nearly VND381 billion ($18 million) by the end of the morning.

KLF Joint Venture Investment International Co (KLF) was the leading stock here with 7.2 million shares being traded, gaining 5.1 per cent to reach VND12,400 per share.

The afternoon session will resume at 1pm.
