KinderWorld, the educational investor in Vietnam

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore over the last forty one years, the two countries have continuously strengthened their excellent and multi-faceted bilateral ties.

The Strategic Partnership Agreement, the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreements have all opened new avenues of co-operation in various areas between both countries, one of which is education.

These agreements have encouraged KinderWorld Education Group as a Singapore company to continue its long-term commitment to education in Vietnam.

Since 2000, the KinderWorld Group has successfully developed 14 international educational campuses under the brand name of KinderWorld International Kindergarten (KIK), Singapore International School (SIS), Singapore Vietnam International School (SVIS) and Pegasus International UniCollege, in key cities across Vietnam.

At SIS and SVIS, through its international, integrated and national plus programmes which combines Eastern values and Western education, students from kindergarten to university foundation level are provided with a rigorous curriculum towards an international study pathway.

Many students from KinderWorld’s group of schools have attained top awards for internationally recognised secondary school examinations and have continued their education in well-established universities all over the world.

The students’ excellent achievements have shown KinderWorld’s ability to provide quality education to prepare students for life-long learning and global citizenship.

With KinderWorld’s commitment to further education in Vietnam for students beyond high school, Pegasus International UniCollege offers local, ASEAN and international pathways and qualifications in hospitality, tourism and culinary arts, business and commerce and English language courses.

Vietnam has an immediate need to develop its human capital to meet emerging tourism demands and ASEAN requirements.

The ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals which takes effect in 2015, will facilitate the mobility of skilled labour in tourism within ASEAN countries.

Since its establishment, Pegasus has delivered 120 training courses, both part-time and full-time to more than 4,500 students in both Hanoi and Danang.

Pegasus International UniCollege, with its state-of-the-art facilities, is well positioned to provide training to fulfill the growing needs of Vietnam’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

SIS Super School @ Gamuda Gardens, Hanoi will commence operations in August 2015 on a 2.3 hectare land site at Gamuda City.

This new school will incorporate sustainability and green buildings to minimise energy consumption and utilise environmentally friendly building materials.

With its long history in education and commitment to improve the learning experience of its students, KinderWorld Education Group will continue its commitment in providing quality education at SIS Super School @ Gamuda Gardens.

Currently, KinderWorld is embarking on its Adventure and Eco-Tourism Project, a new educational initiative, in which the first Outward Bound School in Vietnam will be established.

Well-known in 34 countries, Outward Bound programmes aim to foster personal development, interpersonal, leadership and survival skills.

KinderWorld believes that every student is special with unique skills, capabilities and talents. Outward Bound, Vietnam will train students to stretch their limits through challenging experiences in unfamiliar environments.

KinderWorld Education Group will continue its quest for enriching and challenging educational programmes to meet the twenty first century needs of an ever changing and fast paced society.
