Binh Duong production value rises

 The industrial production value of southern Binh Duong province in the first seven months of this year hit VND98 trillion (US$4.6 billion), up 12.8 per cent year on year.

Of the figure, the foreign-invested sector made up 67.5 per cent, a rise of 13 per cent.

In July alone, the figure was nearly VND14.6 trillion ($685.73 million), a 3.9 per cent growth over the previous month, of which the foreign-invested sector contributed VND9.97 trillion (468.59 million), up 4.4 per cent.

Meanwhile, Binh Duong posted an export turnover of $1.3 million in the month, up 4.4 per cent against the previous month, pushing the January-July figure to over $8 billion, rising 13.3 per cent.
