FPT begins construction of green office complex

The FPT City Joint Stock Company under the FPT Corporation started the construction of its office complex, the FPT complex, in Ngu Hanh Son district on August 13.

The 5.9-hectare complex, which has an investment of VND485 billion (US$23 million) for the first stage, will provide office space for 10,000 employees, and help the sustainable development of FPT Software and FPT University in Da Nang city by 2015.

The project has been recognised as an environment friendly and energy-saving complex by the ministry of construction.

The six-storey building will have a 1,500-litre solar-power heater system and a solar power generator which can produce 12KWh daily.

FPT Da Nang earned VND1.85 trillion ($88 million) in revenue last year.
