The company also plans to open dealerships in Khammuan and Champassak provinces next year. Meanwhile, the company is studying the feasibility of opening a dealership in Savannakhet province.
Over the past three years, the company has imported several types of Mazda to Laos, including Mazda pick-up BT-50, Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Mazda 6, and Mazda CX5.
Experts say the car market is still growing in Laos.
With the population of Vientiane reaching almost 800,000 people, the number of vehicles has risen to more than 577,890.
Industry and commerce officials have attributed the rising number of vehicles in Laos to several factors, including the country's rising purchasing power the fact that vehicles can be bought in instalments.
In addition, the inflow of foreign investment has created rising demand for land use, causing the price of land to increase and enabling more Lao people to afford vehicles.
