Bourses open in the red

Both the domestic bourses opened in the red this morning, while the sale orders increased as the investors want to make profit as soon as possible.

In the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index tumbled slightly by 0.15 per cent to settle at 587.16 points.

A total of 89.9 million shares were traded with a value of VND1135.82 billion.

After the sharp fall yesterday afternoon, the investors were more cautious during this morning's session. As a result, the VN-Index gained slightly with a few large stocks advancing, such as of GAS, VIC and BVH.

A few minutes later, the tickers of the two bourses turned red. The cash flow remained moderate.

The price of large-cap stocks like REE, STB, MSN, SSI and FPT fell below the reference prices.

In HOSE, a total of 156 stocks tumbled, 56 remained unchanged and 63 advanced.

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index lost 0.74 points to finish at 89.13 points.
