Viet Nam-Cambodia trade fair opens in Phnom Penh

A Viet Nam-Cambodia trade fair opened in the Cambodian capital city of Phnom Penh yesterday, offering a place for businesses from both countries to find partners.

More than 150 enterprises with nearly 300 booths are showcasing a wide range of products, including textiles and garments, leather and footwear, agro-forestry-aquatic products, electronic goods, chemicals, construction materials and fertiliser.

The event, which will run through November 18, is part of Viet Nam's effort to assist its businesses in promoting exports to Cambodia and other ASEAN markets.

The sixth of its kind, it was jointly organised by Vietnamese ministries of Defence and Industry and Trade, and the Cambodian Ministry of Defence.
