Vietnam Airlines releases tickets ahead of Tet

Vietnam Airlines has begun to sell tickets for flights from January 19 to February 16 for the pre- and post-Tet holiday (the Lunar New Year), which begins on January 31.

 

The national flag carrier said it would operate an additional 835 flights on nine major routes to meet the high demand for travel during the period.

The Ha Noi – HCM City – Ha Noi route will have an additional 385 flights, a 23 per cent increase compared to the ordinary schedule, while the Da Nang – HCM City – Da Nang route will have 218 extra flights, a 26 per cent rise.

There will also be more flights on seven other routes from HCM City to Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Vinh, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon and Buon Ma Thuot.
