Russian forum explores VN investment potential
A forum held in Russia on Monday focused on economic and investment potential in Viet Nam and Russia's Kursk region.
Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son described the event as a good opportunity to promote trade and economic co-operation among localities in an attempt to open a new page in the two nations' bilateral relationship.
Kursk Governor Alexander Mikhailov hoped that the two business communities would seek investment projects and diversify trade promotion to stimulate local economic development.
During the event, the firms described the advantages of potential co-operation in areas such as agricultural production, food processing, fine arts and handcrafts, mineral exploration, machinery manufacturing, medicine and pharmaceuticals. Additionally, businesses from the two nations signed 10 co-operation agreements on food, farm produce processing, medicine and tourism.
