VietinBank plans to work with JFC on services

The Viet Nam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) has reached a co-operation agreement with the Japan Finance Corporation (JFC), becoming the first and only bank in Viet Nam to be selected as JFC's partner.

Under the agreement, the JFC will introduce VietinBank's services to small- and medium-d Japanese enterprises and issue Stand-by Letters of Credit to guarantee their loans at VietinBank.

The two sides also agreed to promote information exchange, as well as introduce potential partners and clients to each other.
