IPH wins four conveted AP Property Award

The results of the International Property Awards Asia Pacific regional competition 2013 was announced on May 10 in Kuala Lumpur, with Indochina Land receiving four prestigious awards across a range of categories.

Especially, Indochina Plaza Hanoi (IPH) has become the first project from Vietnam to receive the regional recognition for its outstanding mixed-use interior, which once again reaffirms the highest international standards of this mixed use development.

The awards received this year by Indochina Land include Best Leisure Development in Vietnam for Hyatt Regency Danang, the first branded resort, spa and residences that transformed the central coast of Vietnam, Best Mixed Use Interior Asia Pacific, Best Mixed Use Interior Vietnam and Highly Commended Mixed Use Architecture for Indochina Plaza Hanoi.

With three multiple awards for this year, IPH has truly become a remarkable brand name for mixed use development not only in Vietnam but across the entire Asia Pacific region.

Commenting on the awards, Peter Ryder, CEO of Indochina Land, said, “We are humbled to accept multiple awards for IPH and Hyatt Regency Danang under extremely competitive categories, and pleased to share the honour with an exceptional team of international designers with whom we collaborated on these two projects, including Gravity Partnership of Hong Kong, Benwood Studio Shanghai, PTW Architects and Diana Simpson Design from Australia. We are proud to receive the Five-Star Best Mixed Use Interior in Asia Pacific for our IPH, which we believe as one of the most recognised mixed use developments in Asia.”

“The entries that we receive from the Asia Pacific region become more impressive year after year. With the participation of 260 companies from 23 countries in the region for 2013 Awards, this is the biggest International Property Awards regional event in the awards programme’s 19-year history. The winning companies have outshone their peers and proven exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in their field,” Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said.

The Asia Pacific Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards which was formed 19 years ago.

The award winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. Attaining one of these coveted awards is indisputable evidence that Indochina Land has outperformed some exceedingly strong contenders within the highly competitive Asia Pacific property arena.

Later this year, IPH will compete against other winning companies from Europe, Africa, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate World’s Best in Mixed Use Interior category. Last year, the Asia Pacific region has an enviable record of achievement at international level, having scooped an unbeaten total of 12 World’s Best Awards.

Indochina Land is the real estate division of Indochina Capital, a leading financial services firm whose principals have more than 20 year track-record in Vietnam, developing and financing real estate projects covering the full range of property types from residential, retail, office, resorts, hotels and leisure.

Indochina Land currently manages three funds with approximately $500 million of committed capital, facilitating over $2 billion in property development completed, under construction or in the development pipeline.
