HCM City retains basic land-use fees for 2013

Minimum land prices for resettlement compensation in HCM City would remain unchanged next year, according to the HCM City People's Committee.

In 2012, the maximum price was at VND81 million per square metre for land with frontage on Dong Khoi, Le Loi and Nguyen Hue streets in the District 1, while the lowest price was at VND110,000 per square metre for the land in the Thieng Lieng area in Can Gio District. These prices have been stable for many years to ensure continuity in compensation for site clearance and relocation.
