Bonus time for Prudential customers

Prudential Vietnam has announced the distribution of a new Special Reversionary Bonus totaling VND468 billion ($22.5 million) for long-time customers with participating policies.

This bonus will be added to the accumulated reversionary bonus and paid out upon maturity or occurrence of the insured events of eligible policies. Participating policies issued before 2006 which remain in-force after March 31, 2013 are eligible for this bonus.

This follows the Special Bonus totaling VND430 billion ($20.6 million) announced earlier this year to participating policies that have maturity dates between 01/01/2008 and 31/03/2013. Prudential has been paying out this bonus since April, this year.

With this new special bonus, Prudential’s maturing and in-force policyholders of participating products issued before 2006 were awarded additional bonuses by Prudential. This is not the first year that Prudential distributed special bonuses to its policyholders. Back in 2007, Prudential was the first life insurer in Vietnam to announce a special bonus to its customers. These bonuses are the result of Prudential’s effective management of its operations and investment performance in recent years.

Prudential Vietnam’s CEO Jack Howell said: “Maximising customers’ benefits has always been Prudential’s top priority and we are very happy to share our successes with our valuable customers again via this new round of Special Reversionary Bonus. The special bonuses mark our appreciation for the long-term support our policyholders have given to Prudential. We are committed to continuing to deliver quality products and services to meet the long-term financial needs of the Vietnamese people."
