State Bank OKs new ATM fees

The State Bank of Viet Nam plans to permit commercial banks and financial institutions to collect fees from automated teller machine (ATM) transactions early next year. The SBV requested that commercial banks propose their fee rates late last week.

The central bank also required the commercial banks to report their revenues from and costs to maintain ATM booths from January to June this year. It aims to set up reasonable fee charts
