ST8: Explanation for consolidated business results in quarter 4/2010

Sieu Thanh Joint Stock Corporation (SJC) (HOSE: ST8) has explained business results in quarter 4/2010 compared with quarter 4/2009 as follows:

• Gross profit: Decreased VND12.8 billion compared with quarter 4/2009. Reason: in quarter 4/2010 the parent company has commercial discount for agents and attained VND9.1 billion.

• Sales expenses: increased VND2.0 billion compared with quarter 4/2009, the main increased from subsidiaries by Cuong Thanh Auto Joint Stock Company

• Administrative expenses: increased VND4.8 billion, which in the parent company increased 3.5 billion (Mainly bank’s charges services), Cuong Thanh Auto Joint Stock Company increased VND1.6 billion, KimThanh Auto Joint Stock Company decreased VND0.3 billion.
