As part of its strategic endeavors, Trip.com Group has recently expanded its office in HCM City to reinforce its commitment to collaborating with Việt Nam's tourism ecosystem, thereby fostering closer ties between local partners and global travelers.

This enhanced presence will support the group's sourcing and partner engagement functions within Việt Nam, enabling local accommodation providers, airlines, attractions, and tourism partners to connect with travelers worldwide through its international platforms.

This development underscores the group's broader mission to fortify its local tourism network in key markets like Việt Nam while continuing to cater to travel preferences across inbound and outbound pathways.

Notably, the group has made significant strides in Việt Nam through strategic partnerships with local hospitality, aviation, attraction, and tourism partners, bolstering its position as a trusted conduit for global travelers seeking immersive experiences in the country.

The group's robust collaborations encompass over 15,000 accommodation partners and prominent domestic airlines in Việt Nam, facilitating the exposure of local travel businesses to a global audience via Trip.com Group's international platforms.

With its cultural richness, diverse offerings, safety standards, and expanding range of tourism products, Việt Nam has emerged as a dynamic travel destination in the ASEAN region, drawing significant interest from international visitors.

The burgeoning digital-savvy population in Việt Nam, characterised by a penchant for flexibility, value-driven choices, and experiential journeys, has underpinned the nation's thriving travel sector. Trip.com Group's platform data illustrates sustained engagement from Vietnamese users, with a notable 63 per cent increase in new app downloads in 2025, totaling 1.8 million installations, and a 70 per cent surge in monthly active users during the same period.
