Phenikaa, Vicostone named among Top 100 Green ESG Enterprises

The ranking was based on two main criteria: business performance and sustainability, and companies' commitments and implementation of environmental, social and governance initiatives.

Phenikaa Group and its subsidiary Vicostone were named among Việt Nam's Top 100 Green ESG Enterprises 2026 and ranked in the Top 10 of the building materials sector, marking the second consecutive year the companies have received the recognition.

The awards, organised by the Finance & Investment Newspaper under the Ministry of Finance and research firm VietResearch, recognise companies for their commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

The ranking was based on two main criteria: business performance and sustainability, and companies' commitments and implementation of environmental, social and governance initiatives.

Phenikaa said it has embedded ESG principles across its four business pillars - manufacturing, technology, education and healthcare - as part of its long-term growth strategy. The group said it aims to pursue low-carbon development through governance, innovation and sustainable business practices.

Manufacturing remains central to the group's ESG strategy, led by Vicostone, a producer of engineered stone.

As of 2025, Vicostone and its subsidiaries had maintained greenhouse gas inventories in accordance with ISO 14064-1 and conducted product carbon footprint assessments under ISO 14067, providing a framework for emissions measurement and long-term carbon neutrality efforts.

The company said more than 95 per cent of its raw materials are sourced domestically and that its ESG roadmap is built around three phases - standardisation, acceleration and neutralisation. The strategy combines digitalisation, emissions management and product life cycle optimisation, from raw material sourcing and manufacturing to distribution, recycling and reuse.
