China Homelife Vietnam expo showcases manufacturing innovation, supply chain connectivity

The fifth International Exhibition of Chinese Products, Equipment, Tools, Technology, and Services for Family Life in Việt Nam opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center on May 12, positioning itself as a strategic platform for strengthening business partnerships between the two countries and bolstering the regional industrial supply chain.

China Homelife Vietnam 2026 has nearly 500 enterprises with 700 booths, including a specialised area featuring over 30 leading manufacturers from 13 Chinese provinces, including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong, Anhui, and Hunan.

On show are industrial machinery, textiles and fashion, household utensils, furniture, gifts, interior decoration items, construction materials, mother-and-baby products, electrical equipment, and new energy solutions.

A notable feature of this year’s event is the “AI Exhibition System” developed by Meorient Group. The platform uses artificial intelligence to help Chinese companies connect more precisely with potential buyers and streamline negotiations.

The event also introduces AI-powered smart glasses capable of real-time translation into more than 120 languages and automatic meeting transcription, helping reduce communication barriers in cross-border trade.

The organisers noted that with Việt Nam’s GDP per capita exceeding US$4,700 and its middle class projected to reach 56 million people by 2030, demand for high-quality consumer goods is expected to continue rising.

Ailsa Zhu, sales manager of Zhejiang Ruiheng Household Products Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of non-stick cookware, said this is her company’s third time at the exhibition.

It already has four Vietnamese clients, and it aims to further expand the customer base through this event, she said.

A representative of Taizhou Tengzhi Home Products Co., Ltd., which specialises in cleaning tools such as brooms and brushes, bath products, suction products, and other household plastic goods, said their products are already available at Vietnamese supermarkets.

She emphasised that the Vietnamese market offers excellent growth potential, and the exhibition is a vital tool for finding new buyers.

Organised by the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Meorient International Exhibition, and Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co., Ltd., the expo will run until May 15 and is expected to attract more than 30,000 professional buyers.
