Fifty outstanding foreign-invested enterprises were honoured at the 25th Golden Dragon Awards ceremony held in Hà Nội on Wednesday.

The ceremony was jointly organised by the Vietnam Economic Association (VNEA), VnEconomy and Vietnam Economic Times.

The Top 50 outstanding foreign invested enterprises were honoured in five categories, including outstanding FDI enterprises, sustainable development enterprises, impressive growth enterprises, pioneer enterprises in green transformation, and enterprises for community well-being for the 2025–26 period.

Some of them include Samsung Vietnam, VSIP JSC, Intel Products Vietnam Co., Ltd., Qualcomm Vietnam Company Limited, Deloitte Vietnam, and Grab Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening, Đào Quang Bính, secretary general of the VNEA, said the Golden Dragon initiative was launched in 2001 to recognise and encourage outstanding FDI enterprises while helping build a stronger and more effective foreign business community in Việt Nam.

He noted that the awards quickly attracted major multinational corporations operating in Việt Nam and have continued to serve as a bridge connecting domestic and foreign businesses with policymakers and local authorities over the past 25 years.

Dialogue and policy connectivity activities had gradually become an important part of the programme, helping improve mutual understanding between businesses and regulators and supporting a more favourable investment environment, he added.

To date, the country has attracted more than 46,000 foreign-invested projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$540 billion, including more than $350 billion in disbursed capital. Investors from 153 countries and territories currently have valid investment projects in Việt Nam.

The year 2026 marks an important milestone for Việt Nam as the country enters a new development phase and commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Đổi Mới (renewal) process (1986–2026). Over nearly four decades, Việt Nam has transformed into one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies.

Organisers said the Golden Dragon Awards continued to recognise the important contributions of FDI enterprises to Việt Nam’s economic growth and international integration.
