The factory is located in Sóng Thần 3 Industrial Park, covering 10ha, with state of the art and environmentally friendly technologies.

It will begin operation on Q1 of 2027, and gradually increase its manufacturing capacity over the course of around 10 years.

Thái Hương, chairwoman of TH Group, said that the new factory will be a modern manufacturing hub, supplying clean, top quality food products to consumers with high transparency. It will also create stable jobs for the locals, contribute towards the city’s socio-economic development, and improve the livelihoods of farmers at material zones in other provinces.

Nguyễn Văn Được, chairman of HCM City, stressed the importance of a sustainable supply of safe, high quality food admist global geopolitical instability and risks of supply chain disruption.

TH Group’s VNĐ6 trillion investment into a new factory highlights the company’s social responsibility for the country.

Additionally, it will elevate the value and competitiveness of Vietnamese produce, and meet the rising demand for food products within the city and southern regions, he said.

HCM City vows to support and create favourable conditions for investors, by continuing to improve its business climate and infrastructure, and help businesses connect and expand their markets to bring high quality food products to local and international consumers.

Officials also partook in a tree planting ceremony at the factory.
